The badge isn't paid for — it's earned. Before any dealership carries it, our team completes six independent checks.
We confirm the dealer holds a current motor dealer licence (LMCT, MD or state equivalent) with their state regulator.
ABN is checked against the Australian Business Register and must match the trading entity on the listing.
We confirm the dealership operates from a genuine, locatable premises — not a carpark or fake address.
A named person at the dealership is identity-checked so customers always know who they are dealing with.
Google and DealerData reviews are monitored for manipulation. Suspicious patterns are investigated.

Is DealerData a dealership or broker?
No. DealerData is an independent information platform — we don't sell vehicles, broker deals, or take a cut of any sale. We publish publicly-sourced and dealer-submitted information so buyers can check a dealership before they visit.
What does the Verified badge mean?
A dealership earns the Verified badge only after the DealerData team completes six checks: motor dealer licence, ABN match, physical premises, point-of-contact identity, review authenticity, and ongoing monitoring. It reflects point-in-time checks, not an endorsement, and can be revoked.
Are the reviews real?
Yes. Google ratings sync directly from Google and are read-only on our platform — dealers cannot edit or remove them. DealerData's own reviews are posted by signed-in customers; dealers may reply once, and our team removes reviews found to be manipulated or abusive.
What does 'Unclaimed listing' mean?
It means the dealership hasn't yet claimed its free profile. Unclaimed listings show only publicly available facts (no fabricated details) and can be claimed for free by the business at any time.
